Your private local, friendly and knowledgeable English-speaking representative will be waiting for you directly at the pier area after your arrival to beautiful Isafjordur. You will be escorted to your awaiting comfortable transportation where you can settle back, relax and set off traveling through the areas jaw-dropping scenery to one of Iceland's spectacular waterfalls.
Travel through some of the most stunning landscapes of the Westfjords as you begin this adventure directly to Dynjandi, the majestic icon of the Westfjords. The panoramic, scenic sights are unrivaled as you are driven through the beautiful fjords to the Dynjandi waterfall.
Upon arrival, be allowed up to one hour to enjoy the breath-taking views, and listen to the soothing sound of Dynjandi cascading down the mountain in a series of seven waterfalls. The top tier is certainly the most impressive but each one of the other six is unique on their own. An easy hike is highly recommended and worth doing up to the top tier for a most magnificent view.
On the return trip to the port, you will stop for approximately 45-minutes at Hrafnseyri where you can enjoy light refreshments, explore the traditional turf houses and church or visit the museum dedicated to Iceland's independence hero Jón Sigurdsson who was born in Hrafnseyri.

Special Instructions
We recommend dressing according to the weather and layer your clothing as the weather can change during the tour and you will be crossing a couple of mountain passes on the way to Dynjandi. Waterproof hiking boots or similar shoes are also recommended, guests will walk on some uneven and unpaved gravel paths and walking trails at Dynjandi. The terrain can get wet even on sunny days due to the splash from the waterfall.
Restrictions
Guests must be able to get in and out of transportation. Guests will be walking over some uneven ground, gravel paths and walking trails. This tour can accommodate a collapsible wheelchair. It is possible for guests with limited mobility to get around at the waterfall area and see the waterfall from the parking lot. One can not ascend to the top tier with a wheelchair and will not be able to get out of the vehicle at all photo stops offered.

Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.

Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world.
