Da Party Bus St. Maarten Island Port Tour

Guests will be welcomed on board this St. Maarten excursion with a fruit or local rum punch and then tour on a traditional school bus transformed into an artistic explosion bursting with festive colors to set you in the mood for a true island party experience. A traditional St. Maarten house has been built at the back of the bus to bring our guests closer to our culture. The windows of the bus were removed for sightseeing and to give a virtual view while touring and enjoying the island. On Da Party Bus up to 30 guests will have a guaranteed unforgettable adventure with a hand-picked driver and entertainer who knows the island better than anyone.

This St. Maarten excursion starts at AC Wathey Cruise Facility and heads through Sucker Garden to the French side of the island. On this journey, you will see a few of our historical land marks such as the Freedom Statue, Great Salt Pond and the Border Monument. The first stop will be Coralita Look Outpoint. A magnificent view of our nearby islands, as well as three natural preserves island of St Martin. With the guidance of our staff, we invite the guests for a walk to the nearest preserve island (optional). The water doesn't get any higher than your ankle. We do recommend you to walk with water shoes or flip-flops that can endure water (approximately 15 minutes.)

Your bus will drive through the Grand Case area, which is the culinary center of the island. At night, the quaint little buildings open up to reveal some of the best restaurants in all the Caribbean. You then continue on to the capital of the French side. In Marigot, you will view local restaurants, French pastries, West Indies Mall, Coconut man and the beauty that surrounds the French side capital.

The party continues on the way back to the Dutch side of the Island. You will experience crossing the Simpson Bay swing bridge, where a majority of the Mega Yachts are located. After, you will head down to the Princess Juliana International Airport before arriving at the Sunset Beach Bar on famous Maho Beach.

Maho may be more famous for what's right over it, as opposed to its sand or marine life. The beach is located at the end of Princess Juliana International Airport. Due to the unique proximity of low flying airliners; the location is very popular with aircraft spotters. This is one of the few places in the world where aircraft can be viewed in their flight path just outside the end of the runway. SXM Airport has won numerous awards for this landing and was just named "The most stunning landing in the world."

You will be dropped at the Sunset Beach Bar and Grill, adjacent (to the side of the runway) to Maho Beach, where you will have approximately 50 - 60 minutes of free time to listen to the bars speaker on its outside deck that broadcasts the radio transmissions between pilots and the airport's control tower, go for a swim, grab a quick bite, or take pictures of the people who ignore the signs and stand right at the end of the runway during plane take off.

SEG and Da Party Bus does not recommend doing this and can take no responsibility for guests who ignore the warnings.

After leaving the Sunset Beach Bar area, we then head back to the ship where we bring da party bus experience to an end. This tour is NOT for guests looking for a quiet island tour. Although younger guests are allowed on the tour at their parent's consent, parents should be aware that this tour is geared more for an adult group and there will be alcohol consumption by some guests.

You will have the option of being dropped off downtown for shopping or being taken back to the pier. Guests departing downtown will need to arrange their own transportation back to the cruise pier at their own expense via taxi, water taxi or walking. Your tour price includes four drinks upon the bus. Additional drinks are at guest's expense.

Our "Scenic" tours provide up close and personal access to some of the most spectacular natural environments on Earth from majestic glaciers in Alaska to spectacular reefs in the Caribbean. Our "Cultural" tours allow customers to experience local customs, entertainment and culinary delights ranging from tribal dances in Alaska to an outstanding local meal in Santorini, Greece. Our "Active" tours offer a multitude of exciting and adventurous ways to experience our destinations.
